under my shoes

well I canÕt complain

cause I missed my train

and all the pain and all the rain

fall mainly on my brain

what a lousy start

I wasnÕt very smart

now every time we get it on, well then we fall apart

I miss the dead

and I miss the living too

I miss the point of living without you

around my head and underneath my shoes

yes I miss the dead

but I miss the living too

yes I know sheÕs gone

nothing I can do

now that I can say goodbye whenever I want to

I was in our house

but I was not home

and everywhere I looked

I found an extra chromosome

well I miss the dead

and I miss the living too

I miss the point of living without you

around my bed and underneath my shoes

yes I miss the dead

but I miss the living too
